Annual Events

The Chamber hosts this dinner and raffle each February. The Chamber donates half of the proceeds to a local organization in an effort to better our community. Prior recipients include the Tri-County Senior Center and the Pacific Youth Association.

This annual banquet recognizes achievements within our community. The Chamber awards college scholarships to girls from Pacific High School and crowns the Chamber Queen. Awards are also presented to business leaders, chamber members, emergency personnel and citizens in recognition of significant contributions to the Pacific Community.

2008 Golf Tournament Form

The Chamber hosts an annual golf tournament in June, which serves as a fundraiser for the Chamber and provides networking opportunities for members of the Chamber.

Pacific celebrates the anniversary of rail service to the city (the first train arrived in Pacific on July 19th, 1853). SummerFest is held on St. Louis Street in the historic district of Pacific, and the main attraction is a classic car "cruise" sponsored by the Tri-County Early Iron Car Club. Vendors with food and drink service are available throughout the streets. Musical entertainment begins at 7:00 PM. Fireworks are displayed from the bluffs at 9:00 PM

In observance of July 4th, a large fireworks extravaganza is presented each year, around the date of this national holiday at the Pacific City Park.

This festival is held in August to commemorate the city's railroad history. This event is held at Pacific Station Plaza and is sponsored by the Pacific Partnership. Railroad Days features a railroad theme with exhibits, historic photo exhibition & vendors. The BarBQ contest/Bluegrass Festival is held in the Pacific City Park. Bluegrass Bands play all evening on Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday into the evening. A Barbecue contest takes place among barbecue experts from all around the state. Judges taste and decide who has the best barbecue. Barbecue and other foods are available for purchase, to the public, on Friday night. The barbecue from the contest is not available for purchase, however, other food and beverage vendors are open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.

This annual event has drawn over 2,000 children to Pacific City Park for Halloween. Local businesses and organizations set up Halloween booths and provide a safe trick-or-treat environment for the children in our community.
