Message from the President
As President of the Pacific Chamber of Commerce, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. Thank you for participating in the growth and success of our community.
Our economy, as well as our State and Federal economies, faces many challenges. By using this guide and discovering the products and services available locally, you help support our community. Dollars spent locally stay and multiply in our community. An excellent example of this is the City of Pacific Tourism Fund. These dollars are generated by out of town visitors to Pacific who stay in our motels and spend dollars locally. These dollars are re-invested by the Tourism Committee to support more events such as Car Cruise and Spook Fest, which in turn generate more dollars by MORE people visiting our community. These dollars support Pacific businesses and citizens.
The Chamber supports our local community annually thru Fantasy Night, Founders Day Banquet scholarships, a golf tournament, Spook Fest and many other worthy causes.
This year we have entered into a cooperative association with the City of Pacific and the Pacific Partnership to start a local gift certificate program to help keep more dollars in our community. We’re blessed to have the support of the Meramec Valley R III School District, Pacific Fire District, Meramec Valley Ambulance District and all the fraternal organizations in our community. Please help these organizations support our community to achieve excellence.
Please use local resources to promote our area to your neighbors. Remember, dollars spent in our community multiply and add value to the entire area.
