As Pacific's 2008 Chamber President, it is my pleasure to thank you for being part of an enthusiastic, hardworking group of community minded leaders. By becoming part of this organization you have demonstrated your commitment to this community's success and growth.

Pacific has the distinction of being an urban community with a small town atmosphere. Pacific continues to expand and grow as demonstrated by the many new subdivisions popping up throughout the area. Pacific continues to be a great place to work, live and raise a family.

"Pacific Pride" is not only a slogan, but also a commitment to excellence. Pacific takes great pride in the Meramec Valley R-III School District. An excellent school system that affords our children a wonderful education that will prepare them for college, trade school or whatever path they choose. Pacific also offers experienced, well-trained EMS personnel in the Pacific Police Department, Pacific Fire Protection District and the Meramec Ambulance District.

Our Chamber office is at the forefront of inquiries about our community. Hundreds of companies and individuals interested in our area contact our Chamber of Commerce each year for information regarding relocation information, tourism information, motels and other lodging, restaurants and business services.

In closing, I'd like to remind you that Pacific has become the city it is by the hard work and community involvement of all of its citizens. It is through this continued work and cooperation that Pacific will continue to grow and thrive today, tomorrow and in the future.
